WeddingBox Lake Maggiore is proudly led by the incredibly talented and passionate wedding planner, Monica Antonetti. With a love for love—and for the lakes—Monica brings warmth, expertise, and an eye for beauty to every wedding she creates.

After spending several years living in England, Monica returned to her beloved Italy to follow her dream of planning unforgettable weddings in the country she calls home. She began her journey on the highly acclaimed WeddingBox Lake Como team, where she quickly became known for her calm professionalism, creativity, and genuine care for her couples.

With years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of both Italian and international wedding traditions, Monica now leads our branches on Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore. Her local knowledge, coupled with her international perspective, makes her the perfect person to help couples from all over the world plan their perfect Italian lake wedding.

I’m Sally Sephora, founder of WeddingBox, and when I started this journey back in 2009, my goal was simple: to create beautiful, unforgettable weddings in Italy with honesty, heart, and an unwavering commitment to our couples. What began on the shores of Lake Como quickly blossomed into something much bigger—thanks in no small part to the incredible people who joined me along the way.

One of those people is Monica Antonetti.

When Monica first came to work with me, I knew immediately she was something special. Her warmth, professionalism, and love for weddings were clear from the very start. She brought not only her brilliant organisational skills and creativity, but also a genuine connection with couples that made everyone feel instantly at ease.

Monica started on our Lake Como team and quickly became an essential part of the WeddingBox family. She understood the vision, shared the passion, and consistently went above and beyond for every couple she worked with.

Today, Monica leads her own incredible teams at WeddingBox on Lake Orta and Lake Maggiore—two of Italy’s most romantic and picturesque destinations. She has truly made these branches her own, bringing the same heart, expertise, and care that made her such a perfect fit from the beginning.
